We are seeking a Director of Product Management across our API product lines which includes our demand and content API’s in the hotel, rental car and flight industry. You have a strong background in software systems, an ability to understand customer needs and opportunities, analytical aptitude and strong stakeholder management skills. A background in the travel industry, especially in the hotel API space is a strong plus.

In this role you will get to:

  • Work closely with our partners, sales and market teams to understand the needs and opportunities in the travel API distribution space

  • Build and maintain up to date industry knowledge, performing extensive research to completely understand how our product offering stacks up against our competitors

  • Manage a team of product management professionals to define, create and manage the short and long term API product roadmap and strategy

  • Lead teams in developing requirements, specifications, and enhancements to our suite of API products.

  • Translate partner problems and opportunities into tangible customer facing solutions with your team

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years experience as a product manager, ideally in the travel technology space

  • Experience managing multiple product teams

  • Experience balancing and prioritizing the needs of internal and external stakeholders 

  • Strong analytical abilities including proficiency with multiple analytics tool sets including Splunk, Tableau, Google Analytics, SQL

  • Experience with Agile project management techniques and tools such as Jira and Confluence

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex projects and software systems

  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment

  • Strong customer-centric communication skills. Ability to communicate to both business and technical personnel. Displays ‘grace under pressure’ ethic at all times, with both customers and peers

  • Strong problem solving, analytic, and decision making skills. Able to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate innovative and effective actions plans to resolve issues.

  • Must be a great team player that works well in collaborative and multi-cultural situations.
