Why this job’s a big deal:

Priceline is currently seeking a Senior SAP Developer that is fluent in building S4/HANA applications for the company’s Financial transformation project. You will be working as part of the SAP Technical team that is responsible for development and support of all SAP applications across the company. This position will develop your knowledge in many aspects related to SAP operations and integrated IT systems.

In this role you will get to:

  • Develop and maintain SAP S4 HANA advanced business applications using a variety of tools and technologies such as Fiori, UI5, CDS, AMDP, HANA Studio. Develops solutions that improve the end user experience and meet business requirements.

  • Collaborate with Functional team members in understanding business needs and documenting the requirements. Adheres to functional specification documents to ensure work products meet the business needs.

  • Responsible for innovative solution design and development of complex solutions.

  • Create and execute test scripts to ensure the delivered solution meets the business requirements.

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining technical specifications, providing status updates.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, debug, tune and optimize report performance.

  • Participate in Agile Development Methodology with test driven development process from the development phase to testing phase and post-production phase.

  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior members of the development team. Ensures the team are following naming and coding standards.

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience in SAP.

  • 7+ years of strong hands on experience in Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) building RICEFW objects using various SAP development methodologies (e.g., Core Data Services, AMDP, OO ABAP, OData, Fiori, API, enhancements/BADI’s).

  • Experience in on-premise and cloud-based SAP deployments.

  • Experience developing custom business applications majorly in SAP Finance and system integration.

  • Experience in understanding architectural and technical SAP solutions in SAP S4 HANA 1909 and RESTful programming model.

  • Experience with integration of third-party tools like Blackline, Concur, OneStream.

  • Self-motivated, team player with ability to work with third-party resources.

  • Analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

  • Experience in financials using SAP latest technologies, and working with several functional areas SAP Finance, Controlling, FI-CA either on-premise or cloud implementations of SAP, etc.).

  • Experience in developing and monitoring middleware system from various third-party systems to SAP.

  • Knowledge of business process in OTC, Finance areas to solve complex business problems with simplified and integrated solutions across company landscape.
