Senior Analyst, Accommodations Analytics

As a Senior Analyst – Accommodations Analytics, you will be our subject matter expert on Accommodations business metrics and trends and will disseminate your findings across the organization. You will get to work with a modern analytics tool stack, truly big data, and a fast-paced industry of travel.

In this role you will get to:

• Hold primary ownership for monitoring business metrics, explain trends and drivers

• Provide concurrent analytical support for initiatives across variety of teams such as Supply, Finance, Marketing, Product and Business Development

• Independently and in collaboration with others, implement end-to-end deep dives and exploratory analysis on business performance

• Partner with other analysts and data engineers in the Analytics team

• Partner with other business units and sister companies to make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve performance and measurement

Who you are:

• 5+ years of analysis/consulting experience, travel or ecommerce/retail industry preferred

• Demonstrate ability to extract value from data and connect insights to business outcomes

• Hands-on, extensive experience with relational databases, terabytes of data, and reducing this data to intuitive models, charts and bullet points for communication

• SQL, second programming language (Python preferred) and visualization experience required

• Demonstrate ability to communicate and present complex concepts to senior leadership

• Communicative, fun, highly competitive, independent person

• BA/BS degree required
