Director, Strategic Projects

In this role you will get to:

  • Run point on large corporate projects and strategic initiatives

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to build, maintain & supervise integrated project roadmaps

  • Define and own success metrics for projects and track performance

  • Prioritize and lead project work, lifecycles, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Create room to collaborate, possess assertiveness and achieve team cohesion while integrating and aligning corporate initiatives.

  • Work closely with multiple departments throughout the company in a role that requires coordination across teams, mitigation of risks and balancing business needs.

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Create, monitor and analyze key project metrics

  • Act as a key point of escalation, providing assistance and guidance throughout delivery

  • Own communications with key stakeholders to effectively surface issues and decisions

  • Drive continuous improvement through data and analytics

  • Produce actionable outputs and reporting

  • Drive a state of constant iteration and optimization through continued analysis.

  • Lead, develop and grow a small team of project managers

Who you are:

  • 10+ years of proven project management or program management experience

  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues.

  • An understanding of the e-commerce (mobile and desktop) landscape.

  • Adept at translating complex processes into concrete results, and possess strong project management skills to shepherd these results from definition to deployment across the organization

  • A self-starter who is confident and able to move projects forward with little direction.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Equal passion for high-level strategic planning, but also tactical daily execution

  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment with multiple responsibilities

  • Humility; a constant desire to grow and learn

  • BS/BA required.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $165,000- $205,000K USD.
