Operations Analyst, Rental Car

Whether it’s hotels, rental cars, flights, cruises or packages, our Lines of Business develop the relationships we need to generate great deals and then get them to priceline customers – so they can experience all the moments that matter to them.

Why this job’s a big deal:

The incumbent’s success will depend on their ability to conduct operations analyses, identify business opportunities, analyze large data sets and tackle varied business problems. This individual will collaborate with business units and engineering teams to understand and prioritize company needs and devise possible solutions based on business use cases. They should be able to recognize that streamlining and improving internal and external processes is key to the success of the organization.

In this role you will get to:

  • Run supplier-driven updates such as rental location and fleet updates.

  • Work with suppliers to resolve errors/issues

  • Work with customer care to communicate closures or other messages to customers

  • Offer recommendations to optimize processes and tools

  • Analysis of supplier metrics – e.g. rental car chargebacks, cancel rates, post-trip satisfaction survey scores, etc.

  • Track metrics, delve into anomalies, report your discoveries and recommendations to supplier managers, propose potential improvements to sites and policies, and collaborate with other teams to implement changes

Who you are:

  • Diligent, critical thinking, ability to work across teams

  • Ability to take the lead on various projects, self-starter, easy to work with

  • Strong organizational and communication skills (cross-functionally as well

  • as external)

  • Experience Level: 4-years degree in business related field, 1-2 years of business experience preferred

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $95000-$110000
