As the Principal Analyst, Commercial Analytics at Priceline, you will be at the forefront of driving the analytical efforts that inform and drive strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining analytics methodologies, frameworks, and systems that enable the Commercial team to optimize performance and deliver exceptional results. This role requires a unique combination of technical proficiency, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics methodologies

Collaborate with data engineering for flawless data integration and infrastructure optimization

Help defines commercial analytics strategy and drive commercial team agenda

Define the future state of analytics, innovating with emerging technologies, methodologies and data models

Lead operational improvements, automating processes, and ensuring data quality and governance

Build and maintain data systems and dashboards for tracking business performance

Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for business improvement and develop solutions based on data-driven insights

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, optimally communicating complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and development
Who you are:

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred

9+ years of experience in an analytical role, ideally within the travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industries

Expertise in SQL, experience with other data analysis tools (Python, R, etc.) and cloud data platforms

Data engineering skills but passion for analytics, insights and driving business value

Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data transformation

Proven track record of leveraging large data sets to drive significant business impact

Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to articulate complex concepts in an understandable way to all levels of the organization
