Senior Accountant

From accounting and financial planning to risk/fraud analysis and payments, our Finance team ensures not only our company’s financial security, but also that our customers can buy from us with confidence.

Why this job’s a big deal:

Senior Accountant will serve as an integral member of a team primarily responsible for Priceline Partner Solutions (B2B Business) general ledger to ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of the division’s journal entries and account reconciliations, and to safeguard the integrity of financial reporting.

A successful candidate will possess the communication skills and business acumen vital to interact with multiple teams within Priceline and BHI.

In this role you will get to:

• Prepare daily and monthly journal entries, as determined by assigned accounts

• Team with other members to assist system integration

• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts monthly; resolve any reconciling items on a timely basis

• Assist with documenting internal controls are optimally maintained for assigned tasks

• Responsible for analyzing specific accounts and providing robust commentary on the fluctuations of these accounts each month

• Assist with requests from the Priceline GL team, risk and controls, internal audit, external audit, and Booking Holdings, Inc.

• Recommend improvements to the efficiency of accounting processes and timeliness of deliverables

• Contribute to special projects to create a more efficient and controlled environment (e.g., automation, ERP implementation, etc.)

Who you are:

• Experience with, BlackLine, SAP S/4 HANA. Oracle and OneStream desired

• 4+ years of related professional experience, preferably with a GL team of a US Multinational Company or Big 4 accounting firm.

• Preferably Certificated Public Accountant

• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

• Excel proficiency required

• Thrive in a high-reaching setting and take ownership of assigned work

• Detail oriented

• Strong analytical skills

• Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $85000-$100000
