Operation Finance Manager, Rental Car

Whether it’s hotels, rental cars, flights, cruises or packages, our Lines of Business develop the relationships we need to generate great deals and then get them to priceline customers –  so they can experience all the moments that matter to them.

Why this job’s a big deal: 

As a key member of a small team, you will have direct influence over the success of one of the world’s largest online rental car platforms. This role interacts with critical internal teams such as Finance, Customer Service, Product, Technology, Legal, and Marketing to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. 

In this role you will get to:

• Liaison with critical cross-functional teams especially FP&A, Finance Operations/Accounts Receivable, Legal, Customer Service, Technology, and Product

• Support all rental car business initiatives, external suppliers, and day-to-day operations

• Plan and implements process improvement initiatives across the rental car business

• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams

• Be the process owner for rental car Sox controls

• Represent the rental car team as the Finance intermediary for collections and payment approval processes

• Develop metrics to provide data for process measurement and future improvement opportunities

• Collect data to identify the root cause of problems

• Collaborate with RC business, Product and Technology to find the best way to design new best-in-class processes and solve process-related issues

Who you are: 

• Bachelor’s  degree in Finance or Accounting required 

• 3-5 years+ of business experience preferred

• Sarbanes Oxley (Sox) preferred

• Organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and strong communicator 

• Someone with excellent verbal and math skills; Ability to define opportunities and/or problems, analyze data, and make  independent decisions to drive strategy

• Team player who must be able to multitask in dynamic, fast-paced  environment

• Someone with excellent follow-up on all projects

• You feel comfortable driving projects with multiple departments within the company as well as with external suppliers. 

• Someone who has demonstrated success in process optimization, efficiency improvement, and implementing technology solutions

• Finance, Project Management, or Operations experience preferred

• Knowledge of SQL and Accounting principles is a plus

• Travel/Rental Car industry background is a plus

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $115000-$140000
