This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.
Whether it’s hotels, rental cars, flights, cruises or packages, our Lines of Business develop the relationships we need to generate great deals and then get them to Priceline customers – so they can experience all the moments that matter to them.
Why this job’s a big deal:
As Director, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement a region-level strategy, based on data and market knowledge, to optimize business performance. You will coach team leaders to drive significant business growth for both Priceline and Agoda through hotel rate competitiveness, supply coverage, innovative distribution strategies, and effective team management. To accomplish our bold growth plans, the Director must be an inspiring leader who moves fast, thinks creatively, can rally the team around common goals & shared objectives, and is effective at accomplishing great results through others. The ability to establish and strengthen profitable long term partnerships with both internal and external collaborators will be key to the success of the role.
In this role you will get to:

Represent Priceline leadership within your region, participate in industry organizations and events, and develop relationships with executive-level decision makers at key hotels, technology vendors and other relevant partners

Coach and inspire team leaders to effectively handle results-focused sales teams and drive business performance, based on data insights, that optimize hotel partnerships within their territories

Recruit and lead organizational planning to leverage team member’s strengths, support career development, and achieve maximum ROI of regional team headcount

Initiate and spearhead successful North America-wide projects by demonstrating effective project management and stakeholder management

Monitor and lead regional performance; drive people leaders to meet and exceed team targets and strategic objectives; champion adoption of new internal tools and processes, and lead team through changes in business priorities

Evaluate market trends, partner performance, and industry landscape across region to ensure the competitiveness of Priceline and Agoda products

Proactively provide feedback to internal teams, including senior management, in developing effective and scalable solutions to improve reporting, processes and operational efficiencies that positively impact the overall performance of Priceline and Agoda and achieve organizational goals
Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred, in any relevant field

10+ years experience leading teams in travel technology, hospitality, sales or revenue management required

Proven success in coaching leaders to develop high-impact, sales -driven teams

Impactful communicator, thought-leader and trailblazer; inspiration to others

Excellent social skills; effectively establishes and maintains relationships with all levels of management including c-level executives

Exhibits executive presence and is comfortable speaking in front of large groups

Highly developed critical thinking, data analysis and data visualization skills with consistent track record using data to make decisions

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence external and internal collaborators

Flexibility to travel up to 50% for partner/market visits and internal meetings

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
The salary range for this position is $165,000-$205,000.
