This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

From accounting and financial planning to risk/fraud analysis and payments, our Finance team ensures not only our company’s financial security, but also that our customers can buy from us with confidence.

Why this job’s a big deal: 

The Director of Accounts Payable will lead all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the trade accounts payable department. This person will report directly to the Sr. Director of Accounts Payable and will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and consistency of data and assist in advising the organization's accounts payable function.

In this role you will get to:

  • Supervise onshore and offshore AP processing teams

  • Lead all aspects of the accounts payable processes, directing and leading the activities performed by the Accounts Payables staff, which requires an advanced level of understanding of the procurement flow processes.

  • Will not hesitate to roll up the sleeves to address any issues associated with the Accounts Payable function

  • Problem solve for Oracle ERP system resolutions and work with IT to develop automated solutions.

  • Solid problem solving skills and attention to detail to identify, investigate and resolve anomalies in the data

  • Works well in a high pressure environment, ensuring that work is being completed in an accurate and timely fashion.

  • Serve as a primary liaison between various team members in addressing issues related to Accounts Payable, Accounting, Procurement and Budgets.

  • Ensure Concur is configured accurately to maintain integrity for all payment requests, including proper authorization and accurate account coding. Provide Concur training to new users.

  • Lead day-to-day operational activities

  • Establish goals and supervise key performance measurements to measure the quality and efficiency of the functional processes

  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining financial systems of high integrity, ethical conduct and compliance with Company policies, procedures and internal controls

  • Provide treasury support including resolution of US and foreign payment issues, ensure adequate funding of bank accounts and assist in establishing new banking interfaces with A/P

  • Receive, research, and resolve internal/external inquiries and audit requests

  • Ensure policies are current, relevant, and consistently applied

  • Serve as subject matter authority for accounts payable purchasing and related accounting system module

  • Resolve Unclaimed Property and process Due Diligence Letters to property owners as the need arises

  • Perform treasury support and other functions to ensure all bank accounts are adequately funded.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (finance/accounting) or equivalent experience; MBA is preferred

  • Minimum of 15+ years of relevant work experience

  • Must have extensive background in Accounts Payable, preferable for a multinational organization.

  • 10+ years of experience leading teams and developing people for growth and success

  • Leading and developing financial shared service teams is preferred

  • Significant experience working and leading cross-functionally in high growth environment

  • Excellent communication / collaboration skills required; role involves building strong relationships across the organization

  • Must be a proactive & highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines

  • Ability to identify areas and make recommendations for improvements with existing processes

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Google Suite, and business intelligence software (OCR, ERP, etc.) are required – Experience with Oracle ERP, SAP and Concur are all a plus!

 

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $150,000-$190,000.
