In this role you will get to:
Provide constructive feedback and influence the performance and career development of high performing engineers.
Full ownership of the API and services for our product(s), supply and collaborate with peers on cross team initiatives.
Continuous collaboration with collaborators across multiple departments and teams to understand their business and product strategies and translate those into strategic technical plans.
Collaborate with senior management in developing long-term technology road maps and execution of existing initiatives.
Lead multiple projects – including planning, prioritization, and task delegation
Encourage accountability for the quality of software that is crafted.
Who you are:
10-12 years of experience preferably in a tech product company.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Proven leader in hiring, mentoring, coaching and developing engineering talent, including performance management
Expert knowledge of Java, its standard methodologies, multi-threaded programming and SQL. Knowledge with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Kotlin
Experience in any Cloud – GCP,AWS,Azure is essential.
A crafty problem solver to work in a fast paced environment who works to find effective solutions. You knock down barriers
Ability to drive the development of high scale systems and system integrations

Flexible work at Priceline
Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
