Director, Technical Account Management

Priceline Partner Solutions is looking for a Director of Technical Account Management. This is a role that requires technical and analytical skills but also management and communication skills to work with Accounts directly to maximize the value of our connectivity.
In this role, you will get to:

Develop and maintain high value relationships with PPS top accounts, particularly the partners’ Technology Leadership.

Lead a team of Senior Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Analysts, working closely with our partners to optimize our implementation, and internally, with PPS product and technology teams to enhance the features of our TravelAPI’s for our partners

Focus on strategy behind the technical Account Management function. This includes, ensuring the TAM team are organized optimally, have the right tools to succeed, and we have an effective go-to-market strategy with PPS’ Third-Party API Aggregator and Mapping platforms

Own key partner operational items such as optimizing customer care support and scalability, as well as finance operations (partner payments, invoice & collateral management) in partnership with Account Managers

Ensure optimal connection and ongoing performance improvements with PPS’ API PartnersWork with key PPS partnerships

Lead the full cycle of Partner API Implementation, from onboarding, development, certification, post launch, and growth. This includes ownership and feedback focused on optimizing PPS’ API documentation.

Ensure communications on API uptime and performance impacts are made with PPS partners. Lead RCA process & communication for meaningful outages.

Identify opportunities to grow our partners’ business and improve our performance for our partners and our business from a technical perspective.

Ensure the infrastructure is in place for the Technical Account Management team to monitor and present on Partner API health and performance and drive recommended optimizations to improve the value of the partnership

Lead rollout plans of new initiatives with PPS partners

Support a multi-year rollout of an exciting new API platform with existing PPS partnerships

Be prepared to travel to visit partners and other Priceline offices, able to travel into the USA (~25% of the time)
Who you are:

College diploma or University Degree, ideally in Business or Technology

A minimum of 5 years work experience managing a team.

A minimum of 5 years work experience in technology, marketing, business, or project management

Ability to prioritize workload supporting multiple high priority partners and company needs.

Strong technical, analytical, management, and presentation skills.

Ability to cope with the demands of a constantly evolving environment and adapt to new situations from both the partner perspective and the industry.

A knowledge of the constantly evolving travel industry

Excellent cross functional experience and communication skills.

Experience using or working with API’s

Enjoys analyzing and explaining technical data to showcase opportunities to improve the Partner and Customer experience.

Previous Salesforce/CRM experience is a definite asset
