Senior Product Manager, AI Experiences:
Our Product Design and Management teams work tirelessly to understand what our customers need and make it a reality. They’re the ones who make our deals come to life and our user experience simple and intuitive.
Why this job’s a big deal:
The Product Team at Priceline is looking for a visionary and forward-thinking Senior Product Manager, AI Experiences to join our AI Experiences team, focused on Penny, our AI travel assistant. In this role, you'll lead the development of the core intelligence that powers Penny, shaping how users interact with a truly AI-first product experience across multiple touchpoints. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling the core orchestration layer that powers Penny’s capabilities, driving innovation across AI systems including sub-agents, inference models, personalization, memory and reasoning layers.
You'll partner closely with engineering, design, data, and cross-functional product teams to architect and scale conversational intelligence that is deeply personalized, context-aware, and performant – ensuring Penny delivers an intelligent, responsive, and trustworthy travel assistant experience that delights customers.
What You’ll Do:
-
Work across the full AI stack of the product, from front-end UX to driving core intelligence capabilities at scale.
-
Build and evolve Penny’s core AI infrastructure, including multi-agent orchestration, inference systems, and decision frameworks.
-
Define and own key parts of the AI product roadmap, shaping intelligent behaviors beyond UI – delivering functionality that is scalable, contextually aware, and delightfully helpful.
-
Apply a rigorous experimentation mindset, leveraging A/B testing, metrics, and user insights to optimize outcomes and guide iteration.
-
Translate business goals and technical constraints into clear product requirements, milestones, and execution plans.
-
Identify, evaluate, and validate AI use cases across the travel experience – enhancing personalization, automation, and customer support through intelligent agents.
-
Champion the responsible development of AI, contributing to ethical guardrails, model performance evaluation, and user trust.
-
Serve as the connective tissue between strategy, user needs, and technical execution—ensuring rapid, high-quality product delivery.
-
Own Penny’s core intelligence KPIs – e.g. intent resolution success rate, median response latency, cost-per-conversation, stickiness – so the product scales with speed, quality, and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
-
5–8+ years of product management experience, ideally with platform or AI product focus.
-
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
-
Proven track record of iteratively shipping AI products fast in a highly agile environment.
-
Proven product leadership in AI or machine learning-based products.
-
Strong familiarity with LLMs, inference systems, and conversational platforms.
-
Experience with experimentation platforms and A/B testing methodologies.
-
Experience driving rapid MVP iterations in a fast-paced, agile environment.
-
Demonstrated experience integrating GenAI, LLMs, or chatbots into real-world solutions.
-
Technical fluency – able to collaborate effectively on API development, AI architectures, and scalable platform design.
-
Strong data literacy: experience using SQL, BigQuery, Tableau, and/or experimentation frameworks.
-
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
-
Excellent communication and influence skills across technical and non-technical teams.
-
A resourceful, proactive mindset, excited to work in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
-
Deep curiosity about the future of AI, a passion for travel, and a drive to build delightful, intelligent AI user experiences.
-
Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
-
The Right Results, the Right Way is not just a motto at Priceline; it’s a way of life. Unquestionable integrity and ethics is essential.
