Full-Stack Engineer (Applied AI/ Node.JS)

In this role you will get to:

• Assist in the development and optimization of applied generative AI driven features and services, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience across different applications.

• Collaborate with UX focused engineers, product managers, and potentially data scientists to implement AI features that align with user needs and enhance interaction quality.

• Be part of a cross-functional agile team that continuously experiments, iterates and delivers on new product objectives.

• Support the deployment and integration of algorithms, ensuring high performance and usability in the user interface.

• Participate in debugging, testing, and refining services and platforms to maintain smooth functionality and a high-quality user experience.

• Research and stay current with AI and UX developments, contributing ideas and best practices to continuously improve the platform.

• Engage in code reviews and actively participate in team meetings to improve the development processes.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field. Equivalent work experience is also welcomed.

• 2-4 years in software development, with experience in API development, database integration, and providing services for UX-driven platforms.

• Proficient in JavaScript/Typescript, NodeJS, and GraphQL.

• You have general knowledge of or exposure to applied generative AI development using tools like the Langchain suite, LlamaIndex, Spring-AI or model provider APIs.

• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to troubleshoot microservices and code efficiently.

• Knowledge or work experience in cloud based environments such as GCP or AWS.

• Solid knowledge of application performance monitoring instrumentation and hands-on experience with tooling.

• Able to work effectively with UX, product, and engineering teams. Ability to  translate technical concepts into practical, user-centered applications.

• Comfortable with Front-end technologies and Frameworks like HTML, CSS, React, and NextJS

• Comfortable with version control tools and patterns like Git, Git flow, and Github flow

• Any Java/Kotlin, Python, ML/Data Science experience are all a bonus.

• You’re passionate about expanding your knowledge in AI and UX, staying current on trends and looking for ways to implement them in your work.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $170,000 – 195,000 USD.
