Priceline is looking for an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join its Strategic Planning & Analysis team. The individual will serve as an integral member of a team with a mission to re-brand priceline FP&A as go-to strategic thought partners within the organization.

Priceline – a part of Booking Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG; formerly known as The Priceline Group), a highly profitable global online travel company with a market capitalization of over $75 billion – is looking for an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join its Strategic Planning & Analysis team. The individual will serve as an integral member of a team with a mission to rebrand priceline FP&A as go-to strategic thought partners within the organization.

The ideal candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial setting and embody the drive and skill set necessary to hit the ground running as a strategic business partner, providing financial and operational analytic support to multiple product teams within the priceline business. A successful candidate will serve as the analytical thought leader for the product teams he/she supports. Key analyses will include but are not limited to: setting annual operating plans, monthly/quarterly actuals vs. forecast variances, ad hoc analysis, and longer term strategic planning. The Analyst or Senior Analyst will be expected to lead cross-functional projects and analysis of financial and operational data. He/she will also be expected to interface regularly with the CFO and to summarize and communicate findings to other senior management and product team leads.

The role’s key priorities include:

  • Building and maintaining robust driver-based forecasting models.
  • Building company/industry knowledge and developing a strong understanding of relevant financial metrics.
  • Supporting the measurement of relevant key performance indicators.
  • Working across the team to build reporting infrastructure, and helping develop new FP&A processes and analyses that add value for all stakeholders.
  • Leading strategic analyses for business partners.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or other quantitative discipline
  • Minimum 2-3 years of related professional experience; FP&A experience preferred. Investment banking or management consulting background is a plus
  • Extensive Excel modeling experience required; knowledge of Hyperion/HFM, Essbase, Tableau and SQL is a plus. Experience with (and implementation of) planning software is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, coordinate the efforts of others and work well with people at a wide range of levels
