Our Product Design and Management teams work tirelessly to understand what our customers need and make it a reality. They’re the ones who make our deals come to life and our user experience simple and intuitive.
This role is responsible for creating and implementing exciting merchandising strategies on Priceline’s web, iOS, Android and email platforms.
The ideal candidate will make full use of their story-telling ability to excite and convert customers on new sales promotions and product features.
They will work with product and design teams to develop landing experiences that motivate customers to engage with Priceline’s unique travel deals via a constant set of sales promotions and merchandising tests.
They will work with the marketing team to create clear, compelling messaging and creative that drives audience to our products.
First and foremost, they will be customer centric, with an ability to generate the right mix of copy, design and imagery that will ensure customers:
easily grasp the benefits of Priceline’s ever evolving suite of inventory and products
are motivated to engage and convert through the purchase path
They will be obsessive about data, both quantitative and qualitative, and be excited to work in a ‘build, measure, learn’ culture that strives to validate its assumptions with real customers so their work can constantly improve.
Conceive, create, and deploy sales and promos, managing a cadence of continual promotions (for all products) that improves top of funnel merchandising on every entry page
Develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ satisfaction and the company’s business priorities
Analyze consumer and business metrics to help steer these strategies
Optimization web, iOS and Android customer experiences to hit business plan revenue, conversion and NPS targets
Collaborate with marketing, product, design and business teams to integrate on marketing campaigns
5+ years of e-commerce merchandising experience, working with product, business, design and engineering to implement merchandising strategies
Proven story-telling ability, with a portfolio of examples on how they arrived at just the right copy and creative to deliver memorable merchandising campaigns
Demonstrable success in optimizing conversion paths across multiple web and/or app properties
Excellent project management, communication, and relationship management skills.
Strong problem and issue resolution skills, leadership, and ability to motivate teams on cross-functional projects.
Ability to work independently and influence resource across other domains
Understanding of product launch and product life cycle management.
Strong business acumen and ability to interact with executives to provide updates, manage escalations, and make executive recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills.
