Why this job’s a big deal?
As a Marketing Data Scientist you will take the lead getting Priceline’s big deals in front of customers and fully own one or more of our major third party distribution channels (Google, Bing, Kayak, TripAdvisor or Trivago). You will be responsible for developing channel strategy, generating ideas and executing to completion.
In this role you will get to :
Develop Strategy: Through expert data analysis and relationship building with our channel partners, you will define your growth strategy and initiatives that will significantly increase bookings and profitability of your channel.
Experiment: What makes Priceline unique is that if you have a great idea, you can run with it to prove it works. We foster an agile environment where anyone can lead delivery of change, all you need is the idea, the energy and the drive to AB Test your idea to conclusion.
Communicate with Senior Leadership: Because of the impact Meta Search channels have on our business performance you will have a high-profile role with regular interaction with senior management where you will communicate your vision and execution, particularly with the senior marketing team.
Manage your operation : You will gain understanding of operations management, machine learning and analytics to keep ahead of the market and avoid issues to ensure continued success.
Who you are :
5+ years experience working with data and advanced analytics with excellent numerical reasoning
2+ years experience in digital marketing A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a quantitative subject
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to explain complex models simply and persuade senior management.
