As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting our applications on our private cloud environment. Our web site serves hundreds of thousands of customers today, and is one of the best known brands on the internet. At the same time, we're in the middle of a transformation to a cloud architecture and providing resources "as a service" to developers. To keep up with rapid growth, you will be working with our server, DevOps and developer teams to support the current environment while helping us in this transition.
On a day to day basis, you will be responding to health and availability issues of our applications, working on capacity issues, supporting new applications or upgrading infrastructure. You will also be working to improve the state of our monitoring, alerting, instrumenting and reporting. You also will be making changes to our application stack, performing deploys on critical infrastructure.Achieve Excellence in Operations and improved availability and customer satisfaction by reducing the number of outages and by recovering quickly from the outages .
Promote practices to solve complex infrastructure & monitoring issues by building and implementing automation tools & frameworks, should be excited about reducing manual intervention & turn-around time to solve repetitive problems.
At the same time to support the current business, we are automating everything that we can to improve availability and to move to a platform as a service model. You will be challenged to build and enhance tools that allow us to automate configuration, help integrate our continuous integration and deployment processes and make deploys and releases easier.
Job Location : Mumbai
You will be working in our mission critical assignments while handling a large infrastructure that caters to billions of user base across the world. You should be excited about working with a team which works in 24*7 environment and also happy to interact with both internal & external audience especially when they have issues related to performance of infrastructure.
