Our Financial Planning and Analysis team sits at the center of the organization and is actively involved with all major strategic decisions. In this critical role, you will partner with the People & Culture (P&C) team to provide end-to-end financial oversight for Priceline’s workforce expansion plans and all P&C related spend.
In this role you will get to:
Lead the annual planning and budgeting process for the People and Culture team.
Perform month-end close responsibilities including providing support for P&C related accruals, generating headcount reporting and providing insightful variance analysis of performance versus budget, forecast and prior year.
Throughout the year, track all planned and unplanned expenditures to accurately forecast spend and provide transparency regarding forecast risks or opportunities to P&C leadership and Finance.
Manage tracking all business cases for workforce expansion plans in order to accurately incorporate the changes into the financial forecast.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and support for special projects (e.g., recruiting scenario planning, etc.).
Work across the team to simplify and automate the reporting infrastructure and help develop new FP&A processes and analyses that add value for all stakeholders.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or other quantitative discipline (CPA a plus).
Minimum 5+ years of related professional experience in Finance (Accounting and FP&A experience preferred).
Previous workforce planning, forecasting and management experience a plus.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, coordinate the efforts of others and work well with people at a wide range of levels while maintaining a stringent level of discretion dealing with confidential or sensitive data.
Ability to simplify and present complex financial topics to diverse audiences.
Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Excel, and ability and interest to utilize tools such as Hyperion/HFM, Anaplan, Concur and Workday.
