Why this job’s a big deal:

Our Product team is seeking an Agent Booking Platform Product Manager with a strong background in software systems, an ability to understand customer needs and opportunities, analytical aptitude and strong stakeholder management skills. A background in the travel industry, especially in the hotel space is a strong plus.  This position is based in our Winnipeg, Canada Office.

The Agent Booking Platform Product Manager is responsible for the strategy and implementation of a new booking platform that will be distributed to 3rd party agents in order to book and manage travel reservations on behalf of the end consumer. You will work with internal stakeholders to identify the agent product needs of new and existing partnerships and partner with our internal product and technology teams to deliver solutions to our customers.

In this role you will get to:

  • Work with our business teams to understand the current needs of our partners within the agent booking platform space

  • Define, create and manage the short and long term agent product roadmap

  • Define higher level objectives and key results and translate those into requirements, establish milestones and manage the execution of the projects across multiple teams

  • Spend time in quantitative data monitoring KPIs around product usage, engagement and overall performance.

  • Translate partner problems and opportunities into tangible customer facing solutions with your team

  • Get your hands dirty.  We are a lean team and there is no job too big or too small.  Some days you will be planning the strategy for the next quarter, and other days you will be diving into database records to troubleshoot an issue.

Who you are:

  • 2+ years experience as a product manager, ideally in the travel technology space

  • Experience balancing and prioritizing the needs of internal and external stakeholders 

  • Strong analytical skills including proficiency with multiple analytics tool sets including Splunk, Tableau, Google Analytics, SQL

  • Experience with Agile project management techniques and tools such as Jira and Confluence

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills from product specifications to Jira tickets to stakeholder communications

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex projects and software systems

  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
