The Senior Workday HCM Integration Specialist will be responsible for maintaining Priceline’s Workday tenant for our global employee population to ensure we have the right enabling conditions in place to deliver brilliant execution of people processes. This position is the ‘go to’ expert for Workday Integrations.

The Senior Workday HCM Integration Specialist is also responsible for “Tier 1” execution of multiple Employee Life Cycle processes (i.e., Background checks, hiring, job changes and terminations) for a specific region of our global company.

In this role you will get to:

Workday and HRIS Systems: Designs, configures, tests and implements Workday integrations, security or business processes. Troubleshoots and corrects issues with integrations, security or business processes. Develops, implements and maintains human resource information systems (HRIS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information for Human Resource department planning and activities. Maintains internal database files and tables and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff.  Collaborates with Human Resources personnel to evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs and may design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands.  Often works with payroll and its personnel to coordinate retrieval and reporting functions.  May serve as HR department liaison to MIS/IT function.

Ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation and collaborates with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term-planning. Serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity and testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Service Delivery and People Data: Responsible for leveraging communication channels and tools to enable “Tier 0” self-service. Responsible for “Tier 1” execution level of multiple Employee Life Cycle processes (i.e., Background checks, hiring, job changes and terminations). Advises Managers and employees day to day and on issue resolution as it relates to Workday and HR processes. Maintains the inventory of E2E processes and keeps a log of approved changes. Ensures employee data changes occur accurately and timely in Workday. Continuously monitors and drives compliance in our processes and ways of working. Provides quarterly HR controls reporting to auditors.

Responsibilities:

Manages projects/process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality. Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities, compares data from different sources to draw conclusions. Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions. Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences. Uses data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications. Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles; performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review and testing of the people/culture management system upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.

Who you are:

Skills: Excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail with strong technical and analytical skills. Ability to provide, in user-friendly terms, sound ideas and solutions to end users on HR systems-related questions, tasks, projects and reports. Ability to work independently. Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Experience: 6+ years experience as a Senior HRIS Analyst in a large-scale organization, including 4 years configuring Workday in assigned function/module (i.e., integrations, security, business processes).  Experience with the building and maintenance of calculated fields.

Education: BS/BA degree in Business, Human Resources, Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Workday training or certification is a plus.
