Marketing Strategy & Analytics Director

From search engine optimization to branding and promotions, our Marketing team is the expert at spreading the priceline message far and wide – capturing the hearts and imaginations of customers to get them to try our services, and keep them coming back for more. 

Why this job’s a big deal:

You will have the opportunity to help drive the growth of multiple parts of the marketing department.  There are many opportunities to find and drive revenue gains, including but not limited to customer emails, media auction bidding and buying strategy, and attribution. You will get the opportunity to work with teams across the organization, including marketing, finance, product teams, and more. The goal of this role is to gain an analytical and strategic understanding of the entire business and find ways to grow it, then help others get there, too.

In this role you will get to:

  • Analyze business trends and identifying gaps and opportunities

  • Translate trends and findings into growth strategies

  • Work with cross department teams to pitch and execute ideas

  • Design and structure marketing A/B tests, work with teams to execute and analyze

  • Build executive level reporting and analysis of marketing team performance vs goals

 

Who you are:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant subject (e.g., marketing, math, economics)

  • 7+ years’ experience in strategic analytics, preferably in ecommerce 

  • Excellent numerical reasoning, strong planning capabilities, highly organized

  • Proactive, self-starter who shows ownership and drive

  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, making complicated concepts easy to understand

  • Analytical capabilities – fluent in SQL and analytical packages  (R, python, etc.)

  • (Nice to have) Relevant Master's degree, Travel industry experience

  • Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline:  Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
