Account Manager, Supplier Relations

Our Supplier team is an important support to the company’s overall sales performance. Third party suppliers add product which we do not have directly contracted. A great relationship, negotiation skills and product monitoring will increment opportunity and deliver the best product in the marketplace.

Why this job’s a big deal:

The Supplier Relations Account Manager works with multiple suppliers and hotel partners including, support the relationship, load and manage inventory, handle promotion and content updates, generate reports and work with leadership to optimize sales. This position has direct telephone and written communications at all levels with partners.

In this role you will get to:

  • Manage and Support leadership communicating with suppliers with loading and managing new inventory

  • Work with 3rd party suppliers to reconcile invoices

  • Creating, updating and performing QA on data mapping to ensure accuracy within our standards, policies, and guidelines

  • Schedule and manage regular calls with suppliers to address issues and advance the relationship

  • Generate sales reports

  • Manage contact information for business, technical and operational contacts

  • Analyze sales and work with suppliers to adjust rates to increase sales

  • Work with revenue management to better optimize sales

  • Review and resolve property information for duplicates and other issues that affect sales

  • Maintain open dialogue with other a number of departments within the organization

Who you are:

  • Experience with SOAP, REST, JMS, XML

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Excellent organizational, follow up and communication skills

  • Conscientious, quick learner, adaptable.

  • Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL

  • Knowledge of XML and Web Services desired

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer is degree preferred

  • Strong organization, communication, and people skills required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment

  • Strong self-motivation and ability to learn
