Why this job’s a big deal:
Reporting directly to the Associate General Counsel (International) Priceline is looking for a talented, engaging, and agile commercial lawyer, ideally with regulatory and corporate experience, to work on international commercial, corporate and regulatory matters within the Priceline Legal Department and in particular on a key Booking Group strategic flights and international expansion project.
In this role you will get to:
Act as a key support to the Associate General Counsel (International) and a team of Business Development Directors in commercial deal negotiations and contract execution with airlines and other travel service provider partners, in North America, the LATAM region and other geographies.
Assist the Senior Regulatory Counsel with a representative office set up for Priceline in new markets, helping to build Priceline’s international network, including in Mexico..
Have the opportunity to assist with International Air Transport Association (IATA) accreditation for Priceline and the Booking Group in different markets.
Develop as an advisor to business clients, gaining experience in an extremely broad range of legal and business topics (commercial, corporate, finance and employment law) on a global basis.
Have the opportunity to work closely with Finance, Sales, People & Culture and Operations in growing the business internationally.
Partner with Priceline colleagues (and colleagues in other companies in the Booking Group around the world) at all levels of the organization, including senior executives.
Who you are:
Has 3-6 years experience as a qualified attorney, ideally with in-house experience and a training at a highly reputable law firm in Mexico or abroad.
Experienced contract negotiator with excellent legal analytic and drafting skills.
An enthusiast for the travel industry (experience in travel is a bonus but is not an absolute requirement).
A person who can confidently flex between different types of in-house legal work.
A multi-tasker, able to manage multiple workstream simultaneously.
