Job Description: Manages the company’s flow of information; designs and maintains a database that provides informative and relevant data to employees within the organization.
Responsibilities: Creates software and programs to run databases that contain and organize wealth of information. Keeps company’s database available, secure and stable. Constantly tests the data to ensure accuracy, updates in keeping up with ever-changing computer technologies. Integrates new products and software packages into the system while making sure the data produced is accurate. Trains other employees on how to access a database and make the best use of its contents.
Skills: Excellent written, verbal communication, organizational and leadership skills. Time management and interpersonal skills with In-depth knowledge of computer programming and data manipulation techniques.
Experience: 3-5 years working experience with databases and computer technologies. Experience with programming languages and tools.
Education: Bachelors’ Degree in Computer and Information Science.
