At Priceline, the Payments team strives to delight our customers with a streamlined and trusted payments experience that allows them to pay however & whenever they want to, whilst improving security, efficiency, and business resiliency. In this critical role, you will partner with Product, Technology & Business/Operations leaders to plan, design and drive the execution of risk and payment related initiatives to make big deal moments for our customers, and to ensure that we remain competitive, and deliver on organizational objectives.
Join our growing Payments Product & Engineering team that has a footprint across Priceline’s global offices. As product manager, you will drive risk and payment related initiatives across the organization and run agile sprint ceremonies including daily Standups, sprint planning, story pointing, demos and retrospective.
Analyze usage of our product, understand competitor offerings, align with internal Pivotal initiatives, and partner needs.
Drive engagement and improvement opportunities with external risk and payment vendors while remaining ahead of the curve with upcoming changes in the payments Ecosystem at large.
Define product specifications, establish breakthroughs, and manage design, development, and quality assurance activities for a cross-functional scrum team of 6-8 people, and be accountable for delivery of product by these teams.
Continuously propose new A/B tests to improve conversion and engagement.
Roll up your sleeves. We are a lean team and there is no job either big or too small. Some days you will be planning for the next quarter, and other days you will be diving into database records or inspecting API responses to help the development team, troubleshoot an issue. We are very hands-on.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is desirable
Prior experience in ecommerce and payments is helpful while exposure to Introducing new product features to customer loyalty programs is a nice to have.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; should have the ability to synthesize data and Metrics to evaluate assumptions/ outcomes.
Experience with SQL & Tableau would be good to have.
Humility: an openness to new processes and a desire to grow and learn.
Should work well with people and different teams. Should become comfortable with ambiguity.
A self-starter who is confident and able to move projects forward with little direction.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills – from product specifications to JIRA tickets, to partner presentations.
