Account Manager, Rental Car

Whether it’s hotels, rental cars, flights, cruises or packages, our Lines of Business develop the relationships we need to generate great deals and then get them to priceline customers – so they can experience all the moments that matter to them

Why this job’s a big deal:

Priceline is in search of an Account Manager to support its rental car business. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills. The primary role of the Account Manager is to support rental car business initiatives, external suppliers, and day-to-day operations. 

This is the ideal position for someone who wants to influence all aspects of one of the world’s largest rental car distribution platforms. As a key member of a small team, you will be directly involved in everything from business strategy, supplier relations and contract negotiations to business development and supplier-driven initiatives 

In this role you will get to:

  • Be the primary point of contact who handles the day-to-day business operations with our external suppliers and internal departments

  • Contract with and support our network of global suppliers

  • Work on supplier specific initiatives and ensure all supplier-driven content is accurate and complete

  • Monitor industry trends and present findings to leadership 

Who you are: 

  • 3 years or more of business experience preferred

  • 4-years degree in a business or hospitality related field from an accredited college or university

  • Marketing, Operations, or Sales experience preferred

  • E-commerce or online experience is a plus

  • Travel/Rental Car industry background is a plus

  • Proficiency in Spanish, French, and/or Portuguese is a plus

  • Knowledge of online marketing is a plus

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; plus ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines

  • Ability to follow-up on all projects

  • Must be meticulous

  • Must be able to multitask in dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Must feel comfortable driving projects with multiple departments within the company as well as with external suppliers

  • Excellent verbal and math skills; Ability to define opportunities and/or problems, analyze data, and make independent decisions to drive strategy

  • Must be a “people-person”

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google Suite, and other related software

  • Some limited travel required

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000
