In this role you will get to:

  • Strategic leadership for DevOps & Site Reliability teams for the PPS Technology Platform

  • Oversee the design, deployment, and management of the organization's infrastructure.

  • Drive the automation of deployment, configuration management, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention

  • Select and implement appropriate DevOps tools and platforms. Evaluate and select third-party tools and services that align with the organization's needs and goals.

  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of outages or disasters.

Who you are:

  • 7+ years of progressively complex related experience.

  • Must have people management experience

  • Proven experience implementing and managing DevOps and SRE practices in large-scale environments.

  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible

  • Proficiency in AWS & Google Cloud

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes.

  • Experience in managing complex projects and initiatives, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling.

  • Proven track record of leading and managing technical teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluation.

  • Experience developing and executing a strategic vision for the DevOps and SRE functions.

  • Experience with Site Reliability Engineering principles, including setting and managing Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgeting.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is  $175,000 to $220,000 USD
