Senior SDET (Software Developer Engineer in Test)

In this role you will get to:

• Manually test stories prior to automation, to get a clear understanding of the functionality.

• Define architecture, design and implementation of Test Automation Solutions.

• Participate in setting up Automated Testing Environment for multiple application platforms. API Testing.

• Design and build test cases and leverage existing Automation Frameworks to build new test scripts while maintaining existing test scripts as per product requirements.

• Translate manual regression test cases into automated test scripts.

• Lead/implement testing for large-scale, web applications tools, and/or software.

• Advocate best practices to team members and development teams.

• Collaborate with Development Managers, Product Owners and other teams to ensure the highest quality of the product by architecting automation focused solutions.

Who you are: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field.

• 5+ years of proven experience in defining, developing and owning test automation infrastructure for a large enterprise.

• Solid foundation in software testing fundamentals.

• Strong foundation with test case management tools (Zephyr, TestRail, TM4J, QC, etc.).

• Fluency in a variety of languages, frameworks and tools for automated testing solutions such as JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, Java, TestNG, RestAssured, Selenium, Jasmine, SpecFlow, Cucumber, Protractor, MongoDB, Hibernate, REDIS, Saucelabs, Browserstack.

• Ability and interest in developing test automation frameworks from scratch.

• Be able to contribute in building continuous integration and deployment solutions (Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.) that served large software engineering organizations.

• Experience with using SoapUI, Postman or similar testing tools for API testing

• Knowledge of advanced SQL and relational database concepts.

• Familiarity with load/performance testing tools such as JMeter and other open source javascript based libraries.
