Key Technical Account Manager (API Trailblazer)

At Priceline Partner Solutions (PPS), we provide the best travel deals to our Strategic Partners. We need a highly motivated Key Technical Account Manager (API Trailblazer) to manage technical relationships with internal and external partners, focusing on seamless API integration and partnership growth. You'll be a technology guru for our Business team and Partners, advocating for their needs, ensuring an industry-leading partner experience, and ultimately contributing to their success and revenue generation.

In this role you will:

  • Build and manage strong technical relationships with our global and key partners, serving as the go-to Subject Matter Expert (SME) for API implementation. You'll help identify the best PPS travel API solutions and support fast, smooth go-to-market integrations.

  • Own the full implementation journey—from onboarding and development to post-launch support and growth—where you’ll apply your knowledge across hotel, car, and flight APIs.

  • Collaborate closely with partners to troubleshoot technical issues, uncover root causes, and guide them toward effective solutions.

  • Dive into API performance data using tools like Splunk and New Relic to spot trends, surface opportunities, and lead technical business reviews that help our partners grow.

  • Be a key advocate for our partners by working cross-functionally with internal teams to shape, prioritize, and promote adoption of new API features.

  • Drive improvements in API capacity and streamline processes that make onboarding and integration smoother and more efficient.

  • Create and maintain documentation that captures best practices, integration processes, and the key success metrics for API adoption.

  • Take initiative and lead projects that enhance our API offerings—your voice and ideas will help shape what’s next.

Who you are:

  • Motivated by working with global brands and internal teams to deliver impactful results.

  • A minimum, of 2-5 years work experience in technology, marketing, business or project management.

  • Autonomous and able to work independently, with strong project leadership abilities.

  • Proficient in SQL, JSON schema, Postman, and related technologies. Hey, if you know graphQL, that is a plus!

  • Enjoys analyzing technical data to improve partner experience.

  • Understands the importance of a successful customer experience.

  • Finds energy in fast-paced environments, keeping things organized and moving across partners and projects.

  • Quick to learn and enthusiastic about using data analysis tools like Splunk and New Relic to drive insights and improvements.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong initiative, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

  • A dynamic learning mindset, adaptable to change and ambiguity.
