Why is this job a big deal?
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the Global Flights Counsel will play a pivotal role in supporting Priceline's international flights business and operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and adaptable commercial lawyer to tackle complex regulatory and corporate matters, driving the strategic growth of our flights business worldwide.
In this role you will get to:

Lead commercial negotiations and agreements with airline and travel service provider partners globally.

Provide expert legal counsel on international travel regulations, including licensing and IATA accreditations, liaising with external counsel as needed.

Serve as a trusted advisor to internal business clients, gaining diverse experience across various legal and business domains (e.g., Commercial, Corporate, Finance, Tax) on a global scale.

Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to support international business expansion and the global reach of Priceline's flights business.

Spearhead company and representative office setup in new markets, contributing to Priceline's international network development, in partnership with other Booking Holdings Group brands.

Engage and partner with colleagues at all organizational levels, including senior executives, within Priceline and the Booking Holdings Group globally.
You will have:

JD degree from an accredited law school and admission to a relevant bar.

4-6+ years of relevant legal experience as a qualified attorney, including experience in a reputable law firm and in-house setting.

Proven experience in commercial contracting and negotiation, with a focus on international agreements.

Excellent legal analytic and drafting skills.

Prior experience in the travel industry, particularly with commercial contracts with airlines, consolidators, and global distribution systems (GDS), is highly preferred.

Familiarity with international travel regulations is advantageous.

Ability to confidently switch between commercial, corporate and regulatory work.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and effectively prioritize workload.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
