Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst in Product, you will contribute to strategic and high-visibility projects. You will get an opportunity to provide inputs on initiatives aimed at achieving product targets, collaborate with relevant teams to implement these initiatives, and assess the outcomes of your proposed actions.

In this role you will get to:

• Coordinate with the team and product partners to understand business requirements, capture data, analyze data sets, and supervise acquisition, engagement, monetization, engagement and retention analyses by scripting complex SQL queries.

• Improve reporting to Product Leadership with improvements to dashboards and presentations.

• Provide insights into the products, supervise performance through critical KPIs and build Tableau reports to disseminate information to team members.

• Find opportunities and make recommendations by analyzing product data. Build reports in Tableau to supervise performance and convey results to Senior Leadership.

• Provide input on initiatives to reach product targets of the strategic project you will be working on, run and then assess your proposed actions in collaboration with the relevant teams.

Who you are: 

• Master’s Degree or higher in Mathematics or Statistics.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related field. Preferred candidates have product data experience.

• Experience extracting & processing big data using SQL, Hadoop tools, and Tableau.

• Illustrated history of living the values vital to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.

  The salary range for this position is $80,000- $95,000K CAD.
