By managing the end-to-end process of adding properties to our catalog and maintaining catalog quality, the team ensures a healthy selection of hotels for our customers.
Why this job’s a big deal
Your work will directly reduce customer contacts, costly booking problems, and relocations, while improving the overall experience for travelers and hotel partners. You’ll work with data, tools, and cross‑functional partners to spot issues, fix them at scale, and help shape better processes and reporting for how we manage hotel content.
In this role you will:
-
Review hotel catalog data, identify issues, and make updates using existing tools and newly developed workflows.
-
Use SQL to investigate catalog issues, test hypotheses, and provide data that informs process changes and stakeholder conversations.
-
Help design and document procedures for maintaining catalog data that is newly in scope, so work can be scaled and handed off across the team.
-
Contribute to dashboards and reports in business intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau by preparing datasets, validating results, and monitoring metrics.
-
Use AI tools to resolve content issues faster and streamline routine tasks.
-
Partner with property activation, product, technology, commercial, and sales support teams to clarify issues, share findings, and help implement fixes or new processes across systems and workflows.
-
Highlight opportunities you see in the data, and collaborate with teammates to prioritize and turn them into improvements and experiments.
-
Help test and provide feedback on new tools, procedures, and automation related to catalog content quality.
Who you are:
-
1–2 years of experience in an operations or analytics‑focused role (e.g.: operations/business analyst).
-
Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write queries and perform analysis.
-
Experience using AI tools (Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity) for analysis, automation, or workflow optimization.
-
Experience working with dashboards in BI tools such as Tableau.
-
Experience using work‑tracking such as Jira to manage tasks and track issues.
-
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
-
Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain data findings to non‑technical partners.
-
Experience in a fast‑paced environment.
-
Experience helping design or deploy AI‑powered solutions in real workflows (preferred).
-
Experience extracting and using data from external APIs (preferred).
-
Background in travel or hospitality, or experience working with operations (preferred; strong interest is also welcome).
-
Track record of challenging the status quo, proposing creative solutions, and supporting experiments from idea through measured impact (preferred).
-
Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, and Trust.
-
The Right Results, the Right Way is not just a motto at Priceline; it’s a way of life. Unquestionable integrity and ethics are essential
