In this role you will get to:

  • You'll be building Priceline's world-class iOS app for booking hotels, rental cars, and air travel.

  • Extensive programming in Xcode and Swift or Objective-C

  • Keep up to date with the latest iOS sdk & devices from Apple

  • Ability to create A/B Tests from scratch to build a best in class consumer experience with an ever-growing demand of our user base.

  • Constant forward thinking collaboration with passionate developers, product, and UI/UX specialists to create fast, stable native solutions built on top of Apple's latest iOS sdk.

  • Build relationships and interact with across multiple Native Teams, Product Managers and UI/UX Specialists to create fast, efficient, stable code, with core iOS technologies to conceptualize, build, test and realize products

  • Provide mentorship and coach other engineers to bring fresh perspectives to the team.
     

Who you are:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience

  • 6+ years of experience building and shipping native iOS applications, including at least one large-scale, high-traffic app live on the App Store

  • Expert knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI, strong command of Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors, structured concurrency), the iOS SDK, and the Xcode development environment; comfortable reading and maintaining legacy Objective-C

  • Experience architecting modular iOS codebases (MVVM / Clean Architecture, independent SPM packages with semantic versioning), and familiarity of consuming Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) shared modules via XCFrameworks/SPM would be nice to have

  • Meticulous approach to computer science fundamentals: object-oriented programming, unit testing (XCTest), data structures, and multi-threaded/concurrent development

  • Familiarity with iOS CI/CD (CircleCI), TestFlight distribution, code signing, and feature-flag-driven release practices (e.g. LaunchDarkly)

  • Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
